On behalf of our staff, pupils and governors, I would like to offer a warm welcome to our school. I am extremely proud to be the headteacher at Burlington Junior School. We strive to create an inclusive, happy and safe environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
At Burlington, staff have a strong understanding of individual pupil needs and through inclusive teaching and support we aim to ensure that needs are met and that all our children are able to thrive, be happy and enjoy their learning.
We have developed a challenging, broad and balanced curriculum which focusses not only on academic learning, but also social, emotional and personal development. Our rich and varied curriculum includes a range of extra-curricular activities and aims to provide all our children with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.
